About pittepatt

I'm a Brooklyn based designer with over fifteen years of experience in the design industry in Europe and the United States. Somewhere along the way, I fell for surface pattern design — and in 2019, pittepatt was born.

Design and illustration play a powerful — often underestimated — role in how we perceive and connect with products. We are all, to some extent, visual thinkers, and design shapes our everyday decisions in subtle but meaningful ways.

Pittepatt is my creative platform, dedicated to developing distinctive, visually engaging patterns. The name “pittepatt” comes from an old 1810 dictionary, where it’s described as “tipp, tapp” or “tick-tack” — echoing the rhythm of the phrase, “my heart goes pit-a-pat.”
